We are currently recruiting for a Stock Controller / Warehouse Operative to join a leading manufacturing business based in Corby. Location: Corby
Shift: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week (early finish Friday)
Salary: £28,412 per annum
Duties:
- Manage goods inwards: unloading, booking in, and accurate labelling of deliveries.
- Handle stock management: issue materials to jobs, process returns, maintain stock records in real time.
- Perform pick, pack, and dispatch tasks: ensure correct labelling, wrapping, and dispatch documentation.
- Support production planning by tracking deliveries and updating schedules.
- Maintain warehouse organisation and cleanliness, adhering to Health & Safety standards.
- Conduct forklift checks and site maintenance as needed.
- Provide flexible support across production areas including moulding line, packing, or basic operator tasks.
The ideal candidate must:
- Hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
- Have previous experience in stock control, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- Possess a full, clean UK driving licence.
- Be reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working autonomously.
- Be confident with manual handling and basic computer skills.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
