An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Solicitor (or Legal Executive) to join a highly respected and long-established law firm with strong roots across Northamptonshire.

This is a key position based in Corby, with responsibility for managing an established caseload across a broad spectrum of private client work. You'll be part of a collaborative and well-regarded team, working alongside both private and commercial departments to help grow the firm’s presence locally.

The Role:

You’ll be expected to handle a full range of private client matters independently and without supervision, including:

  • Wills and estate planning
  • Administration of estates
  • Trusts and inheritance tax matters
  • Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
  • General wealth and succession planning

You will also work closely with the firm’s commercial teams in the area to generate new client opportunities and strengthen existing relationships. An interest in business development and a proactive approach to networking will be essential to succeed in this role.

About You:

  • A qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 3+ years’ PQE
  • Able to manage your own caseload confidently
  • Technically strong across all core areas of private client work
  • Comfortable liaising with HNW clients, business owners and commercial contacts
  • Naturally client-focused, approachable and proactive in building relationships
  • Motivated by quality service and community presence
