Project Support Officer

Based in Coventry

Monday to Friday

35 Hours per week (flexible start & finish times)

£35,000+ PA (Dependant on experience)

12-month fixed term (with potential for longer term employment)

My client is dedicated to driving large-scale change and establishing best practices across their services.

As a Project Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of various projects within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and maintenance of various project plans and schedules.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project managers.
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, and other project-related events.
  • Prepare and distribute project documentation, including reports, presentations, and meeting minutes.
  • Assist in identifying and managing project risks and issues.
  • Ensure compliance with project management methodologies and standards.

Skills:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in project support or administration.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Prince 2 is ESSENTIAL
