Job Title: Production Operator
Contract: 6 Months initially
Location: Ansty Park, Coventry
Basic rate: 18.98/hour, increasing to 19.34/hour once trained.
Shift pattern: 1 week of earlies: 6am - 2pm (early finish Friday)
1 week of lates: 2pm - 10:15pm (early finish Friday)
Role Overview:
Process a range of products using dip surface treatment and manual tools. Ensure conformance to specifications and identify non-conformance through inspection and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Dress and process components as per work instructions
Use manual and powered tools, plus inspection equipment
Operate ERP/data systems (SAP, Visual FAI, etc.)
Maintain safety, quality and 5S standards
Highlight product or safety concerns
Support team with audits and improvement initiatives
Requirements:
Engineering apprenticeship (desirable) or relevant experience
1+ year in manufacturing environment
Ability to read engineering drawings
Skilled with inspection/test equipment
IT literate (Word, Excel, SAP, etc.)
Experience in surface treatments/aerospace is a plus
