Day Shift + half day Friday (no weekends)

Starting Salary: £40,770.25

The Role:

Are you an enthusiastic, driven, and hard-working individual who wants to further your career as an Electrical Discharge Machining Operator & Setter? You will become a Subject Matter Expert on this niche machinery in an internationally renowned, industry-leading Aerospace company.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Operate EDM Aztec and Sarix machinery
  • Drill to specification measurements on a variety of materials for set projects
  • Operate on Aerospace braking system components to a specific measurement
  • Review engineering drawings
  • Complete variety of other responsibilities including conventional drilling, benching, and quality checking with inspection equipment

Skills required:

  • Experience operating CNC Machinery or similar equipment
  • Previous experience with conventional drilling in a manufacturing environment is advantageous
  • Can review and interpret engineering drawings
  • Has worked within a tight tolerance when operating machinery
