The Role:We're seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded Senior Data and Pricing Analyst to drive insights across pricing, margin, and customer behaviour. You will use data to shape pricing decisions, identify profit opportunities, and support strategic initiatives across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, automate, and maintain pricing and margin models using Python and SQL.
- Analyse product and customer-level margin performance to support commercial decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop dynamic pricing strategies and promotional plans.
- Create insightful dashboards and reports that drive action and decision-making.
- Identify risks and opportunities within the pricing and margin landscape and communicate findings to senior leadership.
- Lead complex pricing analytics projects from theoretical to execution.
- Continuously improve tools, processes, and methodologies for pricing analysis.
Requirements:
- 4+ year's experience in data analytics, pricing, finance, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Python (pandas, numpy, matplotlib/seaborn, etc.) for data manipulation and analysis.
- Advanced SQL skills able to write complex queries and optimise large data-sets.
- Deep understanding of margin analysis, pricing models, and financial metrics.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to translate data into business strategy.
- Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders with data.
Desirable:
- Experience working in a pricing, revenue management, or commercial analytics team.
- Exposure to machine learning or statistical modelling is a plus.
