Job Title: Nurse Qualified Business ManagerLocation: Coventry/Warwick AreaSalary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annumType: Full-Time, Permanent (Monday to Friday)About the Role:Claire at Amber Mace is recruiting for a highly skilled and Nurse Qualified Business Manager to lead and manage a complex needs supported living and residential care service within the Coventry/Warwick area. This exciting role will involve working closely with key stakeholders, local authorities, the CQC, and other partners to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the service, with a focus on delivering exceptional care to individuals with complex needs. As a nurse-qualified professional, you will provide clinical expertise while also managing the business aspects of the service.Key Responsibilities:• Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the supported living and residential care service, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, including CQC standards and local authority guidelines.• Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities, CQC, and other relevant bodies. Ensure the service meets expectations and maintains a positive reputation with these stakeholders.• Business Development: Take an active role in the growth and development of the service by identifying opportunities to expand or improve service delivery. Work closely with stakeholders to secure contracts and ensure financial sustainability.• Quality Assurance: Ensure high standards of care and compliance by conducting regular audits, quality checks, and implementing any necessary improvements in line with CQC requirements.• Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage a team of clinical and non-clinical staff, providing guidance, support, and training. Foster a positive and productive working environment that promotes high employee morale and engagement.• Clinical Oversight: Provide clinical leadership and support to staff, ensuring that all care is delivered in line with best practices. Offer guidance on complex care needs, medication management, and care planning.• Compliance and Risk Management: Monitor and maintain compliance with relevant regulations, including health and safety, safeguarding, and care standards. Manage risks effectively and ensure all incidents or concerns are addressed promptly and appropriately.• Budget and Resource Management: Oversee the financial performance of the service, ensuring effective budget management, cost control, and the efficient use of resources to ensure high-quality care is delivered within budget.• Report Writing and Documentation: Prepare and submit reports, including operational and financial performance updates, to senior management and relevant authorities as required. Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping in line with regulatory standards.Requirements:• Nurse Qualification: Registered Nurse (RN), with a valid NMC pin and a strong clinical background.• Experience: Previous experience in a business management role within a complex needs supported living or residential care setting is essential.
