ESG Advisor

Location: Remote with site travel (optional office working in Oxford, Coventry or Leeds)

We are pleased to be supporting a leading multinational logistics and transport business in recruiting an ESG Advisor. This well-established company is known for its innovation, operational excellence, and commitment to responsible business practices. The role will join a growing team, taking a lead in driving the company's sustainability strategy, including ESG initiatives, social value delivery, and corporate-wide efforts to reduce environmental impact, while influencing positive changes across the business and its wider supply chain.

Key responsibilities of the ESG Advisor will include:

  • Coordinate and govern the delivery of the company's sustainability strategy, ensuring alignment across all business areas.
  • Lead and support key sustainability and social value projects and initiatives from planning through to implementation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to produce accurate reporting and engaging communications on sustainability progress and performance.
  • Provide expert guidance on ESG and sustainability matters to inform, challenge, and strengthen the overall strategy.

The successful ESG Advisor requires:

  • A relevant degree and strong understanding of ESG and sustainability frameworks such as CDP, SBTi, UN SDGs, Ecovadis and TCFD
  • Proven ability to manage projects, track metrics, and deliver high-quality work to deadlines with strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
  • Passion for sustainability and ideally have experience in corporate sustainability or social value platforms.
