Senior Project Engineer

Expleo is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will work closely with our customer in the Whitley area, contributing to exciting and innovative projects.

Responsibilities:

• Data Collection: Compile Non-Geometric and Geometric Data by collaborating with internal customers and using in-house CAD software.
• Process Automation: Identify opportunities to automate current processes, develop code, metrics, and targets to convert manual efforts into automated ones.
• Training and Support: Develop and deliver training materials, support methods reviews, and create user guides and manuals for the CAE team.

Essential Skills:
* Proficiency in programming languages like Python, VB, Java, Simulink, Matlab.
* Good understanding of CAD software, particularly 3DX CATIA.
* Strong MS Excel skills.
* Ability to adapt to new technology areas.
* Effective communication skills.

Desirable Skills:
* Understanding of propulsion systems and material properties.
* Awareness of EDU, batteries, HV charging systems, electrical, and mechanical aspects.
* Knowledge of machine learning and AI.
