About the Role:Our client, a well-established and growing company in the industrial / logistic sector, is currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to lead their warehouse operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and hands-on experience in warehousing to take the next step in their career.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of warehouse operatives to meet daily targets and deadlines.
  • Coordinate all daily warehouse activities including goods-in, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
  • Monitor workflow and productivity to ensure efficiency across all warehouse functions.
  • Maintain accurate stock control and inventory levels, completing regular stock audits.
  • Ensure all Health & Safety procedures and company policies are strictly adhered to.
  • Liaise with transport, customer service, and purchasing departments to coordinate logistics.
  • Handle and resolve any issues or discrepancies in the warehouse, such as damaged goods or inventory inaccuracies.
  • Operate FLT (Forklift Truck) equipment safely and effectively as required.
  • Train and onboard new staff, ensuring all team members are properly supported and informed.
  • Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to monitor inventory, track performance, and report on KPIs.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • Valid FLT License (Counterbalance or Reach – specify if required)
  • Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role (minimum 2 years preferred)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in warehouse systems, procedures, and health & safety regulations
  • Good IT skills, including experience with WMS or stock control software
  • Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling tasks as required
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
