- Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of warehouse operatives to meet daily targets and deadlines.
- Coordinate all daily warehouse activities including goods-in, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Monitor workflow and productivity to ensure efficiency across all warehouse functions.
- Maintain accurate stock control and inventory levels, completing regular stock audits.
- Ensure all Health & Safety procedures and company policies are strictly adhered to.
- Liaise with transport, customer service, and purchasing departments to coordinate logistics.
- Handle and resolve any issues or discrepancies in the warehouse, such as damaged goods or inventory inaccuracies.
- Operate FLT (Forklift Truck) equipment safely and effectively as required.
- Train and onboard new staff, ensuring all team members are properly supported and informed.
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to monitor inventory, track performance, and report on KPIs.
- Valid FLT License (Counterbalance or Reach – specify if required)
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role (minimum 2 years preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in warehouse systems, procedures, and health & safety regulations
- Good IT skills, including experience with WMS or stock control software
- Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling tasks as required
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Competitive hourly wage of £15.09
- Stable working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
