Job Title:Production Manager

Salary: £50k - £70k per annum

About the role:
- Layout and organize the production process to provide maximum efficiency and process control.
- Ensure the commercial aspect of all decisions are made a priority.
- Implement and maintain strict quality controls across the manufacturing process.
- Ensure team members are fully trained to use the relevant machines and equipment, read drawings, produce the required quality, and maximize efficiency.
- Manage the department and ensure all employees fulfil their respective responsibilities.
- Apply best practice in work methods and material handling to reduce hazards and risk of accidents and to ensure a safe working environment.
- Develop personnel in line with their capabilities, expectations, and the company's requirements.
- Actively seek and apply continuous improvements to all processes, including the management system.
- Work closely with the Engineering Manager to drive performance and streamline production.
About you:
- Strong experience in an engineering/fabrication environment.
- Good understanding of Laser, fabrication, and welding processes.
- Knowledge of health & safety requirements.
- Understanding of company quality procedures and specific customer requirements.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers on quality and service.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and lead and manage others to achieve desired results.
- Management experience.
- Team leadership and motivational skills.

Additional Information:
The successful candidate will be joining the team at HTA Group in Coventry, which is part of the WEC Group family. The hours of work are Monday-Thursday 7:30am - 4pm & Friday 7:30am - 3pm. Travel to other sites may be required to suit business needs. The role reports to the Manager of the HTA Group.
