- Provide overall guidance and oversight for team safety and all related operations
- Create detailed assessments of potential hazards and outline procedural steps (RAMS) to manage risks, while clearly defining work scope for both team members and the client
- Ensure all relevant personnel, including the Quality Engineer and client representatives, are fully informed of RAMS
- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to build a practical and achievable schedule that reflects staffing needs and estimated timelines
- Track project performance against the established timeline and introduce solutions to address delays or risks to progress
- Skilled professional in fitting
- Completed an apprenticeship and holds a technical qualification from a further education institution
- Holds a Higher National Certificate (HNC) or equivalent technical credential
- Proven hands-on background working on-site with high-voltage AC and DC rotating machinery, including motors and generators
- Strong track record in servicing vertical hydroelectric generators
- Proactive, adaptable, and safety-aware team player with strong communication skills
- Practical experience in conducting risk analyses, understanding electrical safety protocols, performing inspections, and taking precision measurements
- Must have a valid driver’s license with own car and passport
