Your new role

  • Bring early literacy, numeracy, phonics and personal development to life through imaginative teaching
  • Create a welcoming, positive setting where children feel confident to explore and grow
  • Observe and document developmental milestones, sharing insights with permanent staff
  • Provide consistent support across nursery and reception classes during staff absences
  • Adjust easily to different classroom environments and early years age groups

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status / Early Years Teacher Status
  • Understanding, patience, and the ability to engage children in meaningful ways
  • A confident, flexible teaching style that adapts to different schools and situations
  • Experience supporting early years children in a school or nursery setting
  • The capacity to quickly build trust with young learners and staff teams
