Quality Inspector

We design and manufacture components for some of the most demanding environments in the world - from aircraft and defence systems to advanced industrial applications. We're now looking for a detail-driven Quality Inspector to join our growing team of quality professionals.

Key Responsibilities

As a Quality Inspector, you'll be responsible for carrying out inspections on a wide range of incoming materials, raw parts, fasteners, and assemblies, ensuring they meet tight engineering specifications and strict aerospace standards.

You'll be part of a team of five Inspectors, supporting across goods-in, in-process, and release inspections, working from defined inspection plans and using a wide range of precision measuring tools.

Other duties may include:

  • Using measurement tools such as callipers, micrometers, height gauges, air gauges, dial indicators, and more
  • Interpreting engineering drawings, specifications
  • Identifying and reporting non-conformances (NCRs) and working with teams to support containment and corrective actions
  • Conducting release inspections to certify parts going to suppliers or external manufacturing partners

Skills required:

  • Background in quality inspection or quality engineering within aerospace, automotive, defence, or precision manufacturing.
  • Proven experience with dimensional inspection, goods-in quality control, or release certification
  • Comfortable using a range of manual and digital inspection tools
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications
  • Exposure to inspection planning, sampling plans, or supplier quality processes
