Job Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of 3-4 staff members, both part-time and full-time.
- Oversee the Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) service.
- Ensure the effective management of 4 houses with a total of 18 bed spaces.
- Provide support and guidance to staff, including clinical supervision sessions.
- Coordinate community events and initiatives, including International Woman's Day.
- Act as the senior on-call contact as required.
- Support service users with immigration issues through in-house legal services.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Managerial qualification is essential.
- Experience in managing teams and providing leadership in a challenging environment.
- Senior on-call experience is required.
- At least one BME language is essential to effectively communicate with service users.
- Experience in domestic abuse support services is preferred.
- Strong understanding of cultural sensitivities and the needs of BME communities.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and external partners.
