The Role:
Are you an enthusiastic, driven, and hard-working individual who wants to further your career as an Electrical Discharge Machining Operator & Setter? You will become a Subject Matter Expert on this niche machinery in an internationally renowned, industry-leading Aerospace company.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Operate EDM Aztec and Sarix machinery
- Drill to specification measurements on a variety of materials for set projects
- Operate on Aerospace braking system components to a specific measurement
- Review engineering drawings
- Complete variety of other responsibilities including conventional drilling, benching, and quality checking with inspection equipment
Skills required:
- Experience operating CNC Machinery or similar equipment
- Previous experience with conventional drilling in a manufacturing environment is advantageous
- Can review and interpret engineering drawings
- Has worked within a tight tolerance when operating machinery
