Are you a passionate SEN Teacher looking to inspire and support pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties? Together in Learning is delighted to be working with a respected and inclusive Special Educational Needs school in Coventry, CV3. Our client is committed to providing outstanding education for children with a range of complex needs and is seeking a dedicated Teacher to join their Key Stage 2 class.

This position is full-time and fixed-term, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that meet individual learning needs.
  • Collaborating with Teaching Assistants, therapists, and external professionals to support holistic pupil development.
  • Developing and monitoring Individual Education Plans to provide personalised, focused learning.
  • Creating and promoting a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.

Candidate requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with SEN specialism or relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of child development, SEN specific teaching strategies, and multi-sensory approaches to teaching SLD pupils.
  • Compassion, patience, creativity, and a commitment to helping pupils achieve their fullest potential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues, parents, and carers.
