Long Term Futures is working with a welcoming and well-resourced school in Coventry (CV2) seeking a talented and engaging Food Technology Teacher to join their Design & Technology department.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and motivated teacher to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.



Your Role

  • Deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Plan and teach engaging practical and theory lessons that promote creativity and confidence

  • Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and intervention where needed

  • Maintain a safe, organised, and inspiring learning environment

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Design & Technology faculty



What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Food Technology

  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for engaging young learners

  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills

  • A positive and adaptable approach to teaching and learning

  • Available to start immediately and able to commit until Easter 2026
