The Company
Our client is a niche engineering company; due to growth they are looking to recruit a Store Person.
The Role
- You will be responsible for managing and materials in stores.
- Maintaining accurate stock levels and materials so they are available when needed and coordinating the storage area.
- Placing orders for materials and supplies, managing purchase orders and potentially identifying purchasing opportunities with suppliers.
- Completing paperwork, managing inventory records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Developing and implementing efficient stock control systems and processes.
- Conducting regular stock takes, managing stock reports and departmental KPIs.
The Person
- Will ideally have experience in a similar role.
- Engineering/ Technical knowledge beneficial.
- FLT licence beneficial.
- Must be happy to work day shift pattern.
- Logical problem solver.
- Previous engineering or manufacturing experience is essential.
- Must have good IT and communication skills.
