CK Group is seeking a temporary Laboratory Technician for a leading multinational producer of household plastic products, with a minimum contract of 3 months and the possibility of becoming permanent.
The position is full-time, requiring 35.5 hours per week, with working hours from Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm and Friday 9am to 3pm, based in Cramlington.
The salary starts at £28,000 per annum, pro-rata for the 3-month contract.
Candidates must have a degree, HND, or HNC in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field, along with experience working in a laboratory, ideally with polymers.
A full UK Driving Licence and access to a car are required, and applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

CK Group are recruiting for a temporary Laboratory Technician, on behalf of a leading multinational producer of household plastic products, on a minimum contract of 3 months, with possibility to go permanent.

This is a full time position, 35.5 hours per week. Monday to Thursday: 9am - 5pm, Friday: 9am - 3pm, based at their site in Cramlington.

Salary:

Starting from 28,000 per annum (pro-rata for a 3 month contract).

Your main duties will be:

Carrying out laboratory testing of materials and samples.
Recording and reporting test results.

Candidate requirements - skills and experience:

Degree/HND/HNC in Chemistry, Materials Science or a related field.
Experience working in a laboratory, ideally in polymers.
Must have a full UK Driving Licence, be able to drive and have access to a car.
