Controls Engineer - 50k - Bedfordshire
Platform Recruitment has partnered with a leading precision engineering company that designs and manufactures high-performance systems used across advanced manufacturing and research sectors.
They are now seeking an Electrical / Control Engineer to join their growing team and take ownership of the design, delivery, and commissioning of electrical and control systems within their cutting-edge products.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical and control systems for precision engineering products.
- Produce detailed designs using SolidWorks Electrical, with support from experienced CAD designers.
- Ensure all systems comply with relevant product safety and regulatory standards, including CE and regional machinery directives.
- Oversee the build, testing, and commissioning of control systems for production equipment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience designing and commissioning industrial control systems.
- Hands-on experience with PLC programming, drives, and motion control.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks Electrical or similar CAD software.
- Understanding of product compliance standards
