Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking General Operative to help maintain the cleanliness, safety, and general upkeep of our site.
As the General Operative, your responsibilities will be :
- Removing waste and baling cardboard and plastic for recycling.
- Emptying bins, sweeping, and maintaining internal and external areas.
- Operating a floor-cleaning machine and assisting with seasonal outdoor tasks such as weeding and clearing leaves.
- Supporting ad-hoc site tasks such as moving office furniture, disposing of obsolete stock, and basic painting or repair jobs.
- Loading and unloading goods with a forklift truck (FLT license desirable).
As the General Operative, you will have the following skills/experience:
- Practical, hands-on approach to varied tasks.
- A valid FLT Counterbalance license (preferred).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining site standards.
