A unique opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Business Development Manager to join the fastest-growing division of a leading data and insights business. This growth-focused role has come about due to significant investment in the company’s data and insights division, and offers huge potential for personal and professional development.

As a Business Development Manager, you will take full ownership of an established client portfolio, while focusing on new business acquisition. This is a remote-based, field-focused role, ideal for a sales professional who thrives on building relationships, delivering consultative solutions, and closing strategic deals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, retain, and grow a portfolio of existing clients within the data and insights space

  • Identify and win new business opportunities through targeted prospecting and networking

  • Deliver tailored product presentations and proposals to decision-makers

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans and quarterly sales strategies

  • Attend in-person client meetings and represent the business at relevant events

  • Maintain up-to-date records in CRM (HubSpot), ensuring accuracy and insight-driven reporting

  • Provide valuable feedback to support ongoing product development and client satisfaction

The Ideal Business Development Manager Will Have:

  • A proven track record as a Business Development Manager or B2B sales professional

  • Experience selling technical or consultative solutions

  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

  • A target-driven mindset with the ability to deliver consistent sales results

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to self-manage in a remote role

  • Familiarity with HubSpot CRM is advantageous, but not essential

  • Knowledge of the environmental or property sectors is a plus, but not required
