Morgan McKinley is seeking an experienced Bid Writer for A well-established and rapidly expanding national company based in Crawley.

We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Bid Writer to support the sales team by creating high-quality proposals and presentations, maintaining accurate CRM data and managing a smooth and timely bid process. This is a detail-focused role centred on coordination and content development within the new business workflow.

Job Title - Bid Writer

Location - Crawley (Hybrid)

DESCRIPTION.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the sales team by creating clear, high-quality proposals and presentations
  • Write proposal content using input and ideas from the Business Development Director
  • Draft presentation decks
  • Create presentation decks that follow company templates
  • Keep the CRM system up to date
  • Ensure bids are completed and submitted on time
  • Focus on detail, coordination, and content writing to support new business effort
  • Update opportunity stages
  • Enter accurate closing dates and deal values
  • Track outcomes of submitted bids

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Track record in bid writing and understanding of the tendering process
  • Excellent communication and writing abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven experience working with external stakeholders
  • Organised individual with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
