The Requirements:

  • Proficient in using essential tools and machinery are required for the role.
  • Experienced in gardening, landscaping or labouring, with a strong eye for detail.
  • Knowledgeable about Health and Safety regulations, including hazardous materials.
  • Valid UK Driving License is preferred, but non-driving roles are available also (company vans are available for tool transportation and travel).
  • Able to effectively plan and manage time to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Hardworking and capable of performing tasks in all weather conditions.
  • A reliable team player with the flexibility to provide cover when needed.

The Role:

  • Mowing grass verges and roundabouts, alongside pruning shrubs.
  • Trimming and shaping hedges to maintain neat, tidy landscapes.
  • Cleaning and maintaining road signs, street furniture, and other public areas.
  • Siding and cleaning footpaths, ensuring a clear and safe walking environment.
  • Cutting grips, both tractor-mounted and manual, to prevent drainage issues.
  • Collecting and disposing of litter to maintain cleanliness across the site.
  • Ensuring clear visibility splays for improved safety and accessibility.
