Role SummaryAn experienced individual delivering Pensions System configuration to both internal andexternal software and administration clients. A client facing role, acting as workstream ortechnical lead for client configuration and an expert in automating scheme calculations,workflows, client output configuration, data migrations and / or interfaces. Agree the scopeof work and provide estimates. Will define, configure, test, implement and maintain specificpension's elements of the Company's software. The role also requires the individual tocontinuously develop a professional, technical and commercially aware approach.

Core Duties/ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for the following:Requirements Definition

* Undertake analysis on new pensions projects and/or enhancements to existing

projects.

* Analyse changes and enhancements to client's pensions schemes by taking a view

of their impact on the company's software as installed for the client.

* Liaise with clients to define pension calculation related processes using company

utilities and techniques.

* The production of functional and technical specifications

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience skills and behaviours:

Desirable* Educated to degree standard preferred.* Relevant qualifications in the Pensions Industry desirable (e.g. PensionsManagement Institute Certification).* UML Certification via ITSQB/ISEB or OMG desirable but not essential.* Essential* Over five years experience of the Pensions Industry, either as a Senior SchemeAdministrator or Business Analyst experienced in capturing requirements forPensions IT Projects and subsequently supervising (on large projects) or developingand testing (smaller projects) Pensions Systems Changes, such as schemecalculation changes.

Essential* Prior experience of Pensions Systems configuration* Analytical mindset* Administration of DB Pensions Schemes.* Administration of DC Pensions Schemes.* Excellent working knowledge of UK Pensions Legislation.* Good ability to perform scheme calculations manually (supported by appropriatetools).* Excellent understanding of Pensions Administration Business Processes andWorkflows
