PPM CREWE

JUNIOR LOGISTICS CONTROLLER

 

We require a Junior Logistics Controller to join our team supporting the process of managing stock, ordering and deliveries by a major paint supplier in Crewe.             

The position suit an ambitious individual who is looking for a career in an exciting, new environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee stock rotation.
  • Perform mandatory stock audits.
  • Help ordering of all materials.
  • Ensure 100% of the time the site is furnished with products to ensure zero line stops attributable to PPM.
  • Maintain all paint material receiving records.
  • Check return paint stock levels.
  • Prioritise paint samples for spray out.
  • Email batch approvals.
  • Paint availability spreadsheet.
  • Batch planning.
  • Consumption reports.
  • Order spreadsheets.
  • Weekly stock takes.
  • Unloading deliveries.
  • Putting away deliveries received.
  • FLT use (once training is provided)
  • Carry out any other reasonable requests/duties made by the Supervisor or Line Manager.

Additionally, the following skills and experience would be advantageous:

  • Attention to detail
  • Timekeeping
  • Reliability
  • Basic maths and English

The position will be based on days and additional hours will be required as necessary and paid at an approved overtime rate.

Hours are 39.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Monday to Thursday

07.30am to 16.00pm

Friday

07.30am to 13.00pm

Annual salary will increase after a successful 6-month probation period.

This role is on site based with no option to work from home.

Additional approved hours will be paid overtime.
