Pay Rate: 27.11 - Max PAYE - Limited TBC

Location: Crewe - Pyms Lane, CW1 3PL

Duration: 27/02/2026 + Extensions

Working hours: Onsite Mon - Thurs 7.30am - 3.35pm Fri 7.30am - 11am

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections and approvals of Mulliner products for fit, finish, and basic functionality, including driving assessments, across various locations within the facility.
  • Check incoming parts against established standards in collaboration with the Collections Quality Engineer.
  • Perform receiving inspections for Mulliner parts, ensuring adherence to quality and functionality standards.
  • Verify the quality and specifications of Mulliner parts fitted to mainstream models and oversee repairs to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
  • Support inspections of Classic and Coachbuilt products alongside the Mulliner Production Quality Team Leader or Project Quality Engineer.
  • Record and document all inspection activities, identifying issues with detailed problem statements and recommendations for achieving saleability.
  • Log issues into the Bentley FLAGS system and coordinate with the Mulliner operations team to communicate defects and develop resolution plans.
  • Provide daily status reports on Right First Time (RFT) metrics and initial problem analyses of defective vehicles to the Mulliner Quality Manager and relevant stakeholders.
  • Engage in problem-solving initiatives, offering recommendations on alternative designs or methods to enhance product saleability.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement activities and seek opportunities to refine processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven track record in a production or manufacturing environment with a strong focus on customer quality.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with peers and supervisors, especially under pressure.
  • Experience in team collaboration within a bespoke delivery setting.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Improvement and Problem-Solving methodologies.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of product specifications and drawings.
  • Knowledge of product trim and assembly processes.
  • Proficient in using MS Office programs (Access, Excel, Word).
  • Possess a clean, current vehicle driving license and a Bentley Product driving license.
