Pay Rate: 25.00 per hour

Duration: 2x End date: 31/12/2026 1x End date: 15/07/2026 + extensions

Location: Pyms Lane, Crewe, CW1 3PL
working Hours: Full-time / onsite 35 hours per week, flexible hours provided but Bentley core Hours must be covered (9.30am - 2.30pm)

About the Role:

In this pivotal position, you'll be at the forefront of delivering top-notch automotive engineering analysis. Your work will ensure that our range of products meets the highest standards of quality and performance. You'll be responsible for:

  • Project Management:Plan and manage daily project activities within your designated area, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication of status updates.
  • Dimensional Measurement:Utilize your understanding of Measurement First Principles to dimensionally measure parts and vehicles, creating detailed reports that inform our engineering processes.
  • Root Cause Analysis:Analyse individual dimensional and functional issues, providing insights that lead to effective solutions and quality improvements.
  • Team Collaboration:Work cross-functionally to meet project requirements and enhance the quality status of parts and systems, collaborating with both internal teams and external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of Meisterbock/Cubing and whole vehicle/part dimensional analysis activities.
  • Building and measuring components with precision and accuracy.
  • Interrogating fitment processes during the assembly of systems or vehicles.
  • Collecting, managing, and analysing data to produce insightful analysis reports.
  • Staying up to date with the latest technologies and measurement solutions.

What We're Looking For:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • An HNC in Engineering or completion of a recognized engineering apprenticeship.
  • Practical knowledge of optical and tactical metrology equipment.
  • Proficiency in CAD and engineering software, particularly Catia and KVS (Desirable)
  • Comprehensive skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Polyworks, Powerinspect, and GOMinspect.

Key Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a basic understanding of root cause analysis.
  • Excellent communication abilities to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • A proactive attitude toward maintaining and evaluating measurement equipment and software.
