About the Company

We're working with a respected and well-established building and interior fit-out contractor with an annual turnover of 8 million. The company specialises in CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects for a prestigious client base including blue-chip organisations, high street brands, and leisure operators. Projects typically range up to 500,000 in value, and the vast majority of work is secured through framework agreements and long-term repeat clients.

The business prides itself on quality delivery, professionalism, and client satisfaction, operating nationally from its North West base.



About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of high-specification interior fit-out projects across various sectors. This is a client-facing role requiring strong leadership, financial acumen, and organisational capability.

You will take full control of projects from pre-start to handover, ensuring programmes, budgets, safety, and quality standards are met or exceeded.



Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of CAT A & B fit-out projects up to 500k

  • Lead on project planning, programming, and resource management

  • Monitor and control project budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting

  • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining professional and proactive communication

  • Ensure compliance with H&S, building regulations, and internal quality standards

  • Manage project variations, scope changes, and change orders efficiently

  • Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle

  • Maintain accurate project records, reports, and documentation



Requirements

  • Proven experience managing fit-out or refurbishment projects in commercial or leisure sectors

  • Demonstrated stability and long-term commitment in previous positions
  • SMSTS and CSCS Black Card - essential

  • NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management - preferred

  • Strong commercial and financial awareness

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills

  • Proficient in IT systems including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and project management tools

  • Highly presentable and professional demeanour

  • Strong attention to detail, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
