Computer Science Teacher - Secondary School - CreweStart Date: September | Full-Time | Long-Term Position

Tradewind Recruitment is excited to be working with a forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in Crewe, currently seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join their team from September. This is a full-time, long-term position, with the potential to continue for the full academic year and possibly transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.

About the Role:

As a Computer Science Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

  • Plan, prepare and assess lessons that meet the needs of all learners

  • Teach a range of computing and IT topics, including programming, algorithms, cybersecurity and digital literacy

  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity, problem-solving and independent thinking

  • Contribute to departmental planning, extra-curricular activities and whole-school initiatives

The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification

  • Have experience teaching Computer Science or ICT at secondary level

  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for digital education

  • Be confident using a range of software, coding languages (such as Python or JavaScript), and digital tools

  • Possess excellent classroom management and organisational skills

  • Be committed to supporting student progress and achievement through inclusive and dynamic teaching
