CNC Turner Setter/Operator – Join a Leading Engineering Company in Crewkerne! £16.00 per hour, Permanent

Hours: 39 per week, Mon–Wed: 07:30–16:30, Thu: 07:30–16:00, Fri: 07:30–13:00 (early finish!)

Are you an experienced CNC Turner Setter/Operator looking to join a precision engineering team? We are seeking a skilled individual to set and operate CNC turning machines and produce high-quality components.

This is a hands-on role in a clean, well-equipped machine shop with a supportive team and opportunities for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set and operate CNC Turning machines (Fanuc control)
  • Programming experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Use precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy
  • Adjust machine settings with minimal supervision
  • Maintain tooling and replace inserts
  • Deburr and finish parts as needed
  • Complete basic machine maintenance

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a CNC Turner (Fanuc)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Works well both independently and in a small team
  • Committed to health & safety procedures
