About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head Chef to take the reins at a beautiful boutique hotel and restaurant in Perthshire as it moves into a new era for 2026. With a strong reputation for warm hospitality and refined dining, were now looking for a creative and ambitious chef to bring fresh energy, ideas, and innovation to the kitchen.
Youll have the freedom to design and deliver new tasting menus and la carte offerings, showcasing the best of Scottish and seasonal ingredients. This is an excellent opportunity to make your mark in a small, quality-driven operation serving around 30 covers per evening in a relaxed, elegant setting.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the kitchen while maintaining high culinary and hygiene standards
Create and implement modern, seasonal menus to elevate the dining experience
Oversee all aspects of kitchen management, including ordering, stock control, and cost management
Work closely with management to ensure a consistent, high-quality guest experience
Foster a motivated and professional team culture
About You
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in an 2AA Rosette-level or equivalent establishment
Strong background in modern Scottish or European cuisine
A passion for creativity and continuous improvement
Excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills
Calm under pressure with a hands-on, collaborative approach
