Job Title: Class 2 Driver (HIAB)

About the Role:We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 2 Driver with a valid HIAB licence to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and collection of goods using a lorry-mounted crane (HIAB), ensuring excellent service to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle with mounted HIAB crane to deliver and collect goods.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle is kept in a roadworthy, clean, and presentable condition.
- Load and unload goods in line with health and safety regulations.
- Communicate professionally with customers, representing the company to the highest standard at all times.
- Complete all paperwork and electronic records accurately and promptly.
- Comply with all driving hours, working time, and road transport regulations.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle defects immediately.
Requirements:
- Full UK Category C (Class 2) licence.
- Valid HIAB licence (Remote, Grab, and/or Hook attachments preferred).
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Proven experience operating a HIAB vehicle.
- A good understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime if required.
Desirable:
- Previous experience within the [building materials/construction/industrial] sectors (adjust depending on sector).
- Additional endorsements (e.g., ALLMI, CSCS card).
