Core Responsibilities
- To organise and maintain the calibration of company tools, equipment, update the calibration database and maintain the certificates and records of calibration activities. Managing the external calibration provider.
- Follow Up with internal departments regarding NCR's raised from External/Internal sources. Support departments as required using RCA tools.
- To assist in maintaining the Company Quality Management System and compliance with the appropriate national and international standards throughout the Company.
- Complete internal audits as per the schedule and promptly produce the report.
- Development and implementation of process improvements to improve efficiency and reduce cost.
- Managing the quarantine area, ensuring parts are actioned within a suitable timeframe by the relevant departments.
- Manage the workshop audit schedule with the auditors and ensure findings are communicated to relevant managers and recorded on the NCR database.
Employee Profile (Professional Experience & Education, (Desirable)
- Educated to degree / HNC level
- Experience of quality systems in a safety critical engineering environment.
- ISO9001:2015 Internal or Lead Auditor certified.
- Engineering / technical background including knowledge of engineering
Specific Skills & Knowledge (EX: Language, IT skills)
- Experience in Quality Assurance techniques and the ability to make recommendations to management.
- Fully conversant with such as Micrometres, Callipers, Height Gauges and CMMs (Inspect 3D).
- Work under your own initiative and be able to demonstrate adaptability, flexibility in carrying out this role.
- Good communication skills both written and oral.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Sharepoint).
