As a growing and ambitious company, Redwood Collections prides itself on developing excellence and providing tailored credit management solutions. As a Sales Executive, you will play a key role in driving new business opportunities and contributing to the company’s continued success.

The role is predominantly telephone-based, proactively contacting businesses in the UK to identify whether they require assistance recovering debts owed to them by their customers. In addition, you will actively leverage LinkedIn, marketing campaigns, and networking opportunities to self-source prospects and generate meaningful engagement with potential clients.

Redwood Collections Ltd are looking for a highly motivated, confident, and proactive in seeking new opportunities. You should have the drive to take ownership of your work, build strong client relationships, and represent Redwood in a professional and personable manner. A strong presence on LinkedIn with an existing network or following would be an advantage, helping to kickstart your career, though it is not essential.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable attending networking events, engaging with prospective clients, and developing their professional profile within a chosen sector. Over time, the role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a niche area of the market (e.g. recruitment, construction, logistics), building an expert presence through online engagement, events, and podcasts. Successful individuals will progress towards a full 360 sales role, developing prospects through to confirmed new business.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Generating sales leads by proactively telephoning prospective clients
  • Driving new business opportunities through LinkedIn engagement, outreach, and relationship-building
  • Responding to and following up on marketing campaigns delivered by Redwood
  • Taking ownership of a niche sector to grow your personal network and market profile
  • Representing Redwood at networking events, online forums, and podcasts to generate engagement
  • Managing your dashboard with results, maintaining accurate records of all activity
  • Meeting and exceeding personal and team targets

Training Programme:

As part of our ongoing commitment to nurturing and developing talented individuals, Redwood Collections Ltd have a fixed training regime, ensuring all employees are provided with the knowledge and understanding to excel within their role.

We dedicate at least one hour per week to formal training, as well as learning on an ad-hoc ‘shadowing’ basis.

The training is carried out with various members of the senior management team, allowing successful candidates the best possible opportunity to succeed and build a lasting career with Redwood Collections Ltd.

This position is conditional, subject to a three-month probationary period, where training will be provided throughout and progress meetings to help you develop within the role.
