Supervisor - Data Centre environment - 55,000 - 60,000

An established global facilities management provider is seeking an experienced Supervisor (HV) to support operations at a large, mission-critical data centre in South London.

This is a key leadership role, responsible for supervising day-to-day critical engineering operations while ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and uptime.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate a team of critical engineers on site
  • Act as the Authorised Person / Senior Authorised Person for HV systems (where applicable)
  • Ensure safe operation and maintenance of HV/LV electrical infrastructure
  • Oversee planned and reactive maintenance activities
  • Manage permits to work, risk assessments, and method statements
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and site procedures
  • Support incident response and escalation processes in a 24/7 critical environment


Requirements:

  • Proven experience working within a data centre or critical environment
  • Strong HV electrical background (Authorised Person experience preferred)
  • Supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical safety rules and compliance standards
  • Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure situations
  • Relevant electrical qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
