An established global facilities management provider is seeking an experienced Supervisor (HV) to support operations at a large, mission-critical data centre in South London.
This is a key leadership role, responsible for supervising day-to-day critical engineering operations while ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and uptime.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate a team of critical engineers on site
- Act as the Authorised Person / Senior Authorised Person for HV systems (where applicable)
- Ensure safe operation and maintenance of HV/LV electrical infrastructure
- Oversee planned and reactive maintenance activities
- Manage permits to work, risk assessments, and method statements
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and site procedures
- Support incident response and escalation processes in a 24/7 critical environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience working within a data centre or critical environment
- Strong HV electrical background (Authorised Person experience preferred)
- Supervisory or team leadership experience
- Excellent knowledge of electrical safety rules and compliance standards
- Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure situations
- Relevant electrical qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
