Our client is currently seeking a Senior Engineer with expertise in rail structures to join their dynamic team. This permanent position involves a mix of office-based work, site visits, and the flexibility of home working. The role is focused on the rail sector, specifically on projects related to rail structures around stations and temporary works design, requiring strong civil engineering capabilities.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and analysing rail structures and temporary works
  • Conducting site inspections and overseeing the implementation of designs
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Preparing detailed technical reports and documentation
  • Ensuring designs comply with relevant regulations and quality standards
  • Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers
  • Managing project timelines and resources effectively
  • Maintaining strong client relationships through excellent communication and service


Job Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in civil engineering within the rail sector
  • Proficiency in designing rail structures and temporary works
