The Role:

So, what will you be doing as a Senior Electronics Engineer?

Interpret high-level system requirements and translate them into detailed hardware specifications.
Lead electronics and/or firmware design, development, and reviews for systems, subsystems, and board-level solutions.
Ensure designs meet customer, legislative, and business requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Oversee testing, integration, and formal qualification of systems.
Produce and review project documentation, including requirements, design specifications, and acceptance test procedures.
Liaise with customers and suppliers to resolve technical issues.

What are we looking for in our next Quality Engineer?

Degree (or equivalent) in an electronics or engineering discipline.
Broad knowledge of analogue and digital design, including EMC, electrical safety, and signal integrity.
Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout, design for manufacture, and lifecycle management.
Exposure to power electronics, high-speed digital, RF, or sonar technologies.
Familiarity with tools such as DOORS, ECAD, PMRP, and configuration management systems.
Strong understanding of component selection, obsolescence management, and environmental compliance (RoHS, REACH).
