- VAT Specialist
- 10 years minimum UK Accountancy Practice experience
- Act as the primary point of contact for VAT-related client queries
- Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients (with in-house support)
- Communicate with clients via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings – clients include high street retailers, contractors, and hospitality businesses
- Collaborate with the firm’s offshore processing team – no VAT return processing required
- Submit daily internal reports and maintain clear records
- Support with basic queries around Income Tax and PAYE
- 10+ years’ experience in a UK accountancy practice
- Strong VAT knowledge and experience advising SME clients
- Confident communicator with a client-focused approach
- Basic understanding of Income Tax and PAYE
- Highly organised and professional – able to work independently and within a team
- Must be happy to work full-time from the office – no hybrid or remote options
- Competitive salary up to £70,000 depending on experience
