JOB DESCRIPTION

Librarian and Leader of Reading Intervention required for a good school in south London. The Academy is seeking to appoint a Librarian to manage their Learning Resource Centre and deliver reading interventions. Improving standards in literacy is a whole school priority and this is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to support colleagues in their work with students to develop literacy skills across the Academy.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in books and will share these interests as well as enthusiasm for reading with all students. Applicants will be expected to have a good knowledge of literacy as well as an understanding of some of the barriers to developing good reading skills. The school are keen to meet Librarian and Leader of Reading Interventio over the next few weeks
