Assistant Research Librarian - London
A leading international law firm has a permanent job opportunity for an Assistant Research Librarian to join a team within their Knowledge and Information department.
What you’ll be doingKey job responsibilities will include:
- Providing legal and business research across the firm, using a wide range of printed and online resources, delivering one to one and group training
- Providing research on clients for business development requirements
- Delivering training and developing training initiatives
- Ideally experienced in SharePoint
- Collection management
- Use legal and business information resources to provide a current awareness service to the business
- Produce and collate newsletters on sectors, clients, or key topics
Who you are
This role would be particularly suited to a recently, shortly to qualify or also an experienced qualified Library or Information Graduate who would like the opportunity of applying their library skills in a well-regarded law firm.
You will be a skilled researcher ideally with knowledge of a range of legal and business information databases. You will be working within a structured and supported training environment which will assist in your Information career.
