Sonic Summary

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to support an industrial site that manufactures plastic foam products.
The role involves maintaining various equipment, including boilers, compressors, and extrusion systems, while performing planned, reactive, and preventative maintenance.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of practical experience in a UK industrial setting and strong electro-mechanical skills.
A mechanical and/or electrical qualification at a nationally recognized level of competence (level 3 or above) is required.
The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.

We’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support a busy industrial site manufacturing plastic foam products. You’ll maintain a wide range of equipment, including boilers, compressors, extrusion systems, and pressure vessels.Key Responsibilities:

Perform planned, reactive, and preventative maintenance
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults
Use CMMS to log work and report issues
Support production by ensuring equipment reliability and minimising downtime
Contribute to continuous improvement and project work
Uphold high health and safety standards and take unsafe equipment offline when necessary

Requirements:

Strong electro-mechanical skills
Minimum 2 years UK industrial / practical experience.
Understanding and knowledge of SCADA systems / Automated System
Maintenance experience essential, especially working with Computerised Maintenance Management Software (CMMS).
Experience working with pressure systems

Qualifications:

Mechanical and/or Electrical qualification – Nationally recognised level of competence - level 3 or above.
