Join our client in Croydon, London, as a Project Manager - Pre-Construction, and play a pivotal role in delivering impactful construction projects that meet the highest standards!

Role Overview:
As the Project Manager, you will lead the pre-construction phases of exciting capital projects valued at over 10 million. You'll be responsible for ensuring each project is meticulously planned, executed, and handed over to the delivery team seamlessly.

Working Pattern:

  • Full-time position (36 hours/week) with a hybrid model after an initial 2-3 week onboarding period (5 days in the office, then 3 days).
  • A valid driving licence is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare construction projects for successful delivery, including special projects requiring planning consent and Building Safety Regulator approval.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to establish a robust supply chain, evaluate tenders, and ensure timely project milestones.
  • Engage effectively with stakeholders, including technical consultants, contractors, and residents, to promote smooth project progression.
  • Plan, organise, and monitor pre-construction stages, ensuring that each work stream has clear milestones and resources identified.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in project management within the construction industry, with a strong understanding of RIBA stages 0-4 and the Building Safety Act 2022.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate and problem-solve effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of building regulations, health and safety standards, and energy efficiency measures.
  • A relevant degree or HNC in Construction, Project Management, or equivalent experience, along with a Project Management Qualification (e.g., PRINCE2/APM).
