Accounts Assistant | Crumlin | Part Time or Full Time
Reed Accountancy & Finance are actively working with a client based in Crumlin and are actively recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their business.
This is a permanent opportunity, office based and open to both part time and full time applications.
Reporting to the Bookkeeper, the Accounts Assistant will be responsible for the day-to-day transactional duties and administration working with Sage 50 software.
Duties will include:
Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable using Sage accounts.
Raising customer invoices/ credit control
Maintain accurate records of invoices, credit notes, and purchase orders
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
Support monthly and year-end reporting
Liaise with suppliers and customers to resolve account queries
Assist with VAT returns and other regulatory filings
Monitor and manage petty cash and expense claims
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial data integrity
Provide general administrative support to the Accounts Manager and wider operations team as needed
Preparing monthly GAS Reports (sales and purchases need split into GAS Scheme and Normal)
Organising daily vehicle collections (Raw2k contract & new IAA contract)
Completing CODs (Vehicle Certificate of Destruction)
Submitting quarterly Waste Returns
Responding to accounts phone calls and emails
The Person:
Applicants will be conversant with Sage 50 software and will have previous accounts administration experience
Applicants will have excellent communication skills and will work well as part of a small team environment
Applicants will be able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week
