About the Role
As a Youth Tutor, you'll inspire and support young people through Jobs Growth Wales Plus (JGW+), a Welsh Government initiative helping individuals gain skills and work experience. You'll deliver engaging lessons, plan learning journeys, and help learners achieve their qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver training sessions using varied teaching methods
- Create lesson plans with differentiated activities
- Support learners to achieve qualifications on time
- Motivate and engage NEET learners in a positive environment
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a tutor, trainer, or mentor for young people
- Experience working with NEET individuals
- Minimum Level 3 qualification or Degree equivalent
- GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths & English (Grade C / Level 5+)
- Ability to plan lessons and assess learner progress
