The Spencer Clarke Group Finance Division are proud to partner with a leading public sector organisation to recruit a Finance & Investment Analyst into their high-performing team.


This pivotal role will shape the financial viability of multi-million-pound projects and investments across the district, playing a central part in transforming communities and driving long-term growth. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, providing expert financial modelling, investment appraisal and commercial insight to support decision-making at both project and portfolio level.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on financial modelling, investment appraisal and development viability across major schemes.
  • Assess performance, risks and opportunities against investment metrics and budgets.
  • Provide expert advice on funding strategies, including debt, equity and grant opportunities.
  • Influence key stakeholders and ensure robust commercial recommendations at board level.
  • Drive continuous improvement in appraisal processes and portfolio monitoring.

About You

  • Degree-qualified in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Investment or Business.
  • Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA or equivalent).
  • Strong experience in financial modelling and investment appraisal, ideally across property, development or infrastructure.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior level.
  • Commercially astute, resilient and proactive with a solutions-focused mindset.
