Sonic Summary

Global Recruitment is seeking an experienced steel fitter to join a skilled team on a permanent basis.
The position offers a salary of up to £22 per hour plus overtime, depending on experience.
Candidates must have experience in fitting, fabrication, and welding, particularly with architectural steelwork.
The role requires the ability to read engineering drawings and work independently in both workshop and customer environments.
A valid CSCS card and IPAF certification are mandatory, and supervisory skills are a plus but not essential.

Steel Fitter

Global Recruitment have an opportunity for an experienced steel fitter to join our client’s highly skilled team on a permanent basis.

Salary – Up to £22 per hour + overtime (Dependant on experience)

Location – Multiple sites in and around Glasgow

Suitable candidates should have the following-

You must be experienced in all types of Fitting, Fabrication and Welding to a high standard with an emphasis on architectural steelwork

You must have the ability to read from Engineering drawings and work on your own initiative in a workshop environment and on Customer premises.

We require people who have good communication skills, a positive attitude and who are extremely flexible in their approach to all aspects of Engineering & their working hours.

Supervisory/Leadership skills would be a distinct advantage but not essential, provided skills are to a high standard.
