I am working on an exciting new role with a client based in Darlington. They are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join them on a part time basis. The role will be 22 hours per week, spread across either 3 to 5 days.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare and produce monthly management accounts
  • Support the bank reconciliation process with banking journals
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations
  • Completion of all month end journals and schedules including prepayments, accruals, deferred income, accrued income and depreciation charges
  • Produce short-term, medium-term and long-term forecasts and budgets
  • Support the CFOO and Head of Finance with the consolidation of accounts
  • Liaise with auditors and support with audit requirements including preparation of year end schedules
  • Analysis of Key Performance Indicators and benchmarking data
  • Support to the Office Managers with any financial queries they may have and advise in line with finance policies and procedures
  • To comply with Health and Safety policies, organisations statements and procedures

Any other duties of a similar nature related to the post which may be required from time to time.

Any experience working in the education sector would be beneficial, but not essential.
