Senior Client Manager – Accountancy Practice
Salary: £40,000k - £50,000k + bonus (Dependent on Experience)
Location: Darlington region – Tees Valley
Full time permanent
Level: Manager / team lead – mixed disciplines
Our client is a market leading Accountancy Firm and this is an excellent opportunity to join in a new Senior Client Manager appointment. You will develop strong relationships with clients, connecting with key business stakeholders and support / manage your team with workflow providing quality assurance and guidance when needed.
Main responsibilities
- Practice Operations & Workflow Management
- Manage day-to-day operations of the practice
- Review workflows to manage deadlines and client workload
- Optimise practice management software
- Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
- Review year-end accounts, tax computations prepared by accountants
- Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Technical guidance to accountants
- Tax updates, software, and compliance to other staff
- Ensure efficient delegation of client work
- Business Development & Client Growth
- Tax Planning & Advisory Services
- Manages high-value clients, tax planning
- Oversees tax planning for SMEs, directors, and property investors
- Acting as the key link between the business owner and senior accountants
- Leading client meetings and maintaining strong client relationships
Qualifications
- ACA or ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience
- Experience within an accountancy practice
- Proven track record in a senior team leading or managerial role
- Solid knowledge of Xero or other accountancy cloud platforms
